Hi, been on T3 only for 6 weeks after a disaster on Thyroxine, & finally beginning to feel Ok, although not there yet, these are my first set of results on 35mg of T3, would appreciate peoples thoughts.
THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE 0.37 mIU/L 0.27 - 4.2
FREE THYROXINE * 5.1 pmol/l 12.0 - 22.0
FREE T3 4.8 pmol/L 3.1 - 6.8

When you say a disaster on thyroxine, what exactly do you mean?
I have heard that there's no need to worry if your TSH goes right down when taking T3. That's all I can offer I'm afraid, I wouldn't call myself an expert yet! I'm glad you're feeling better.
Hi Superparrot thank you for your reply, Thyroxine did not suit me left me bedridden with severe flu like symptoms, irregular heart rate, & wildly fluctuating BP, so told to come off it, was very scary.
Thank you greygoose, it is nice to be reassured, just looks alarming to see the T4 so low, although I know that is OK on T3 only, still nice to hear it from someone else.
