Unusual blood results

Babs, Has neither endo prescribed Levothyroxine replacement?
Didn't say Clutter, been on Thyroxine for around 20yrs but never got these high blood results.,always been on 100mcg,now on 125mcg & not having the hypothermia since dose went up but I still need to know what these high results mean to ease my mind, the consultants were not concerned. It's Hashimotos & I also have other autoimmune issues.Don't know where to go next.
Babs, over the years thyroid function declines and dose needs increasing. This is very common in Hashimoto's which progressively destroys the thyroid gland. I doubt that 125mcg will be sufficient to reduce TSH to 1.0 which is where most people will be comfortable. You should have a follow up thyroid test in 6-8 weeks as dose may need increasing. Arrange an early morning and fasting blood draw (water only) when TSH is highest and take Levothyroxine after the blood draw.
100% gluten-free diet may reduce Hashi flares, symptoms and antibodies.
