It's very correct your link. The fact that it is most possibly monetary incentives that's made levo worldwide the most prescribed. If patients don't get well on levo they should certainly trial other hormones which suit them best. More Endocrinologists are unaware of other hormones except levo, make false accusations/statements and wont retract them. They enjoy the 'extras' that the incentive brings prescribing levo. All over the world millions of hypothyroid patients remain unwell thus giving more profits to big pharma through the patients' symptoms being 'treated with other medicines' rather than a decent thyroid hormone.

Dr Lowe wrote the following to the BTA and RCoP, both of whom ignored the science behind it and, despite three yearly reminders to both, who never responded. Dr Lowe then died of an accident.

What's being ignored by the medical profession is quite frightening, they have white coat syndrome, as much as patients!

Shomon gives three links in her article - Dessiccated thyroid in the management of hypothyroidism Parts 1, 2, and 3 - and I can't find any of the link targets at all!

If anyone can give me some clues what I should search for I'd be very grateful. :)

Just realised why I couldn't find the articles when searching for them.

The Shomon article has an updated date of this month, so I was searching by date for something new. The original articles were published in 2009, so they definitely aren't new.

Not what you're looking for?
