Hair changed colour

Hi has anyone else had a hair colour change my hair is brown but at roots aswell as grey i get golden blonde clour even if i put hair colour over it it stays there so odd

No change in colour but I now have a head of curls where for forty plus years I had completely straight hair!

Not only has my hair lightened, it's also turned curly!!

At one point, on Levo + T3, my hair was a beautiful silver grey. I loved it! Then it got dark again, then some Brown crept in, then it went grey then.... seems to change all the time, unpredictabley. I feel like gobstopper! lol

So did it go brown after being grey that means it got its pigment back wow

Mine is mostly brown/grey but over the top is what I call orange, maybe a version of your golden blonde which sounds beautiful, but mine looks as if I put some ridiculous highlight on the top, like a cap!

So glade to find these post my the gray in my hair is turning a blue/green since i have been on this levothyroxine,scary because the doctor and walgeens say its not the medicine

I think i know what this is now .google hot roots and read about it also on images you will see lots of brown hair with yellowy orangey golden roots like someone cracked an egg on our head .It to do with the colour being near the roots which is hottest part of head the heat of the scalp literally changes the chemistry of hair colour .

How odd but yes, it's just like an egg cracked on top. Can it happen to anyone or is it another thyroid thing?

It can happen to anyone its not thyroid just so happens we have thyroid so we connect everything to thyroid but google and you will see theres not much we can do about it which is so annoying does yours grow down your hair mine is about two and half inches down would not be so bad if it grew to the ends just seems to get more prominent everytime any colour is put on roots over greys
