The Thyroid UK member magazine, Harmony, has now gone out in the post!
This issue includes a short article about Lyme disease which some of you may find interesting.
It’s very difficult to find a doctor in the UK who treats Lyme disease and so we were very pleased to find out that Dr Jess P Armine is coming to the UK to run his first clinic.
Dr. Jess P. Armine holds licenses as a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Registered Nurse. He is trained in Chiropractic, Methylation, Genetic Research, Neuro-Endo-Immunology, Functional Medicine, Nutrigenomics, Applied Kinesiology, Cranial Manipulation, and Nutritional Counselling and has a broad based knowledge of traditional and alternative/complementary health care.
Dr. Armine specialises in correlating the Genetic SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) with Neuro-Endo-Immunology, Acquired Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Cell Wall Integrity to identify hidden imbalances and he develops individualised treatment plans specific to the history and physiology of the individual patient.
He has treated many clients with Lyme disease, Chronic Illnesses, Multiple Chemical Sensivities, MTHFR issues, PANDAS, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Pain, Gastrointestinal Imbalances (Leaky Gut), Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and more.
He is holding a clinic for four days - Monday 15th - Thursday 18th February. Appointments will last for 2 hours and cost £350. There are only a few spaces left for this clinic.
The clinic is being held at Hellens Manor in Much Marcle, Herefordshire, HR8 2LY - hellensmanor.com
He also does Skype appointments in his US clinic - methylationsupport.com/dev/...
You need to be aware that Dr Armine cannot prescribe pharmaceuticals but uses alternative protocols.
If this clinic goes well he may set up other clinics in other areas of the UK. For further information about Dr Armine: methylationsupport.com

There are other practitioners in the US who treat Lyme disease and offer Skype appointments.
There are probably practitioners in the UK who could help treat Lyme and other health problems such as herbalists and nutritionists who understand about the immune system, gut health and herbal supplements that fight infection and support the body.
If you have seen a good practitioner who has helped you, do let us know.
