Tsh is too high, you expect it to be under 1 and you expect free t3 to be at top end of range..... The problem with extra estrogen is that it stops the transport of thyroid hormones because more of them become bound, not free. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thy...
That's because they know nothing about thyroid. They just Don't do it in med school. They think that anything 'in-range' is ok. They Don't know what it feels like and they haven't learnt about symptoms.
They are taught that thyroid is 'easy to diagnose, easy to treat' - word for word. All you need to do is to look at the TSH and prescribe as little Levo as possible to bring the TSH into range. That's all they know to do.
I do know exactly how you feel, jobeth. I would like to line them all up against a wall, all those that have laughed at me, sneered at me, treated me as if I were less than human - even accused me of lying! I'd line them all up against a wall and get out my rusty razor... Let them have a taste of it, too!
Well , I think we have to self treat, or we will die a slow death.
I told my doctor as if last tests yesterday, all's I want from you is a blood test form with what I need doing.
Leave the rest to me.
They know, and they don't want to see me.
But I'm not going near anymore, I'll get bloods done private and just do all I have to do. God forbid but I'd rather kill myself trying then let them bastards kill me.
