help me: so I take 25mcg of Levo & today I took... - Thyroid UK
help me
Don't worry. It is such a small dose you probably will be adding another 25 mcg. soon anyway. How long have you been taking 25?
Also Levo is a T4 prehormone that is inactive. It would have to go through several processes to be activated so until then it may only increase a tiny level in the blood stream.
Your fine. I take 200mcg. Just don't do it often and you will be fine. You will feel like you drank too many cups of coffee.
I doubt you'll even notice, don't panic!
Yes its such a small amount I have had my dose adjusted a few times from 150 to 175 and it makes no difference to me !
Yes it's ok. Just tomorrow start back on 1 again. Lots of people do this by accident first thing in the am. You might feel a little jittery today
I have no thyroid always on 150 but the doctor changed it a month ago to 100 ..... I am so tired only want to sleep. A few months ago the same doctor changed my it to 200 for a year my face became full of hair went to the doctors only to hear not their problem but stopped the 200 that very moment cheek of the doctor so I bought no no. Their should be a law for all doctors to get trained for Thyroid and Cancers x
Hi Thyroid, you obviously have an imbalance of some sort. You are right, the regular GPs and even the Endos don't really understand what happens. This is a functional medicine doctor who knows about these things:

i guess Katarina isn't coming back so won't mind adding this to the thread.
Hi Heloise thank you so much just saw these on you tube. Wish he was my doctor.I also have asthma and most times my heart starts pounding, fluttering or beating irregularly often for just a few seconds or minutes.
I saw this on the net .....Less commonly, palpitations can be a side effect of some types of medicine, such as asthma inhalers or tablets for a thyroid problem.
Guess what I am on inhalers and tablets...grrrr
