Morning just went for my latest Thyroid tests and was given my results for Vit B12 & D tests done about three weeks ago. I am Hypo and on 125 Levo at the moment. My question is should I be supplementing on the following

B12 - 574 (180-2000)

D - 67 (over 50 sufficient) - I am currently taking 1000 vit D3

Thank you

Supplement B12 as it is recommended that we have a range about 1,000 and I see the top range in yours is 2,000. You can supplement with sublingual B12 methylcobalamin and excess is excreted.

Seeing you are supplementing with D3 it will still have time to rise.

How do you feel on 125mcg levo? If you take Vit C along with it it helps to convert T4 to T3.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, can I get the Jarrow B12? Will check my Vit C as on a multivit, going up to Holland and Barratt shortly so will get then. Still feel rubbish, seeing doc next fri for thyroid results and will try get referred to endo as do have the private med ins. Have the feeling of a lump in my throat for last 7 weeks which doc says cant feel anything so not sure if stress or thyroid related - just a frightening feeling :-(

DPA87, 500mcg-1,000mcg methylcobalamin should be sufficient. If Jarrows Formula isn't available in H&B try Amazon.

I would increase your vitD to 2,500iu which is a winter maintenance dose.

If your stomach is o.k. you can buy methylcobalamin ones that aren't sublingual . This is one that is sublingual just for info .
