I keep seeing magnesium mentioned to help with sleep.

But wi it upset my thyroxine.

I took evening promise oil before and it made me so ill as it made my thyroid pills stop working.

You could use Magnesium Oil by Better You - or bathe in Epsom Salts :-) Am not aware of Magnesium upsetting levo - but I could be missing something....

I hope not because I have been taking it for ages. I do take it at night before I go to bed, though, and take levo and T3 in the morning before I get up.

I have taken Evening Primrose Oil for years and it has made no difference to my thyroid medication. How are you sure it was that?

I use what Marz recommends. I often have a bath with a cup of magnesium flakes and some lavender oil in it or I often spray the Better You magnesium oil onto the soles of my feet and go to bed with socks on - I usually get fed up with the socks and pull them off and throw them out of the bed in the middle of the night.

Hi There is a blood test for magnesium but safest just to have it in food as it can be dangerous to kidneys and heart unless medically supervised.
