Just thought I'd let everyone know that I just received a Facebook post off a certain Mexican pharmacy, saying that Mexican T3 will be with us in the first quarter of the new year, and it is not being discontinued!
Let's hope our dreams come true!

This is the first message I have had from this pharmacy (I bought from this pharmacy regularly, so I know them) about this. I am taking this message with a pinch of salt. I don't suffer fools gladly, so I will wait till next year and see what happens.
If it doesn't happen, I already have other sources of T3, so I won't be depressed about it!
I posted a link about Valeant (owner of Grossman). But just because there are issues about them does not mean that they are going to close down Grossman in Mexico.
I have yet to see any evidence that Grossman are not going to make Cynomel ever again. Certainly it has been stated often enough but it reminds of the Bellman: What I say three times is true. What I say three times is true.
Equally, spreading rumours that there will never be any more of 'xyz' brand of medication, could be a useful way to boost sales of 'abc' brand of medication.
Unless you have absolute proof, telling people to 'take the truth' that there will never be any more Grossman Cynomel, when that so called truth is only based on other rumours, is less than helpful.
I *think* that Medix are in Mexico - but so very difficult to work your way round sites which are poorly constructed, and I don't read the languages.
Background.
The company began operating in the 40's under the name of "Laboratories Laif", and until May 1956 was consolidated as Productos Medix SA de CV., A 100% Mexican-oriented research, development, manufacture and marketing all kinds of pharmaceutical chemicals.
At that time, business acumen and service to society Don Federico Gorletti Hoth, founder felt in the Mexican population a growing trend to overweight and obesity, as these health problems were not considered as such.
This was due to poor knowledge of the population regarding the consequences of such suffering. Largely because it, its causes, effects and complications, were not even a discipline in any medical career at the time.
Actually, there was no concern about this situation, and on the other hand, was seen as a sign of a healthy and well-nourished body. Besides being a symbol of happiness and social status.
Keen observation of the condition of overweight and obesity, enabled him to identify an attractive potential niche within the pharmaceutical market. To exploit this niche and also curb the presence of possible competitors was necessary to pass through various stages of learning and consolidation of ideas:
• Causes of obesity and overweight.
• Evolution and consequences of lack of adequate and timely treatment.
• Prevalence in men and women.
• age distribution pattern.
• Treatments available.
• Treatment efficacy.
• Causes of abandonment, therapeutic failure and success.
• political, economic, socio-cultural aspects, and medical obesity; among others.
Mastery of this knowledge was crucial to develop a strong competitive advantage, through a business model that offered innovative products for the time, aimed at treating these diseases, hitherto despised.
The constant search for improvement scheme obese patient care, generated new ideas and these drove the design based on the development of formulas and presentations and ensure that enhanced the effectiveness and safety of medicinal products.
Thus medix ® medical treatments offered to different groups of obese or overweight patients, whether they are hypertensive, diabetic, dyslipidemic or other intractable diseases with traditional medicine. Thus, he achieved a more refined segmentation of the market and this became a competitive strategy.
Under the logic of "Less Weight, More Health" took on the challenge of strengthening its presence in that niche, leading to the production, first in Mexico, specific medications to treat overweight and obesity, with the use of techniques innovative as the release by dialysis technology developed internally with the assistance of scientific experts and registered in 1967 under the name dialicels ®, which allows for more effective drug dosage.
From that moment, medix ® maintains a constant evolution, according to a dynamic and increasingly demanding solutions to their health problems society.
could you please PM me the Mexican pharmacy that you got in touch with, also the other sites that you have dealt with. I just want to make sure that the pharmacy I bought from is not the same.
As an admin I feel it my duty to try to fully understand what people are being offered, what is available, etc. There might well have been a Spanish product about which I do not know and so asked to clarify. And then posted information with link so others can follow if they need to.
I do understand that if the 75 microgram Triyotex product is not suited to your needs, it really doesn't matter if it comes from Pluto.
I saw a recent post about T3 Website from China- 98 or 99% pure. A few $$ per kilo for the raw material, Lio Sodium.
It made me wonder how 'pure' the ideal T3 needs to be and whether this affects the price a lot for the NHS.
It could also explain why some don't like using some supplies from abroad as to efficacy &/or tolerance but within the EU I can't see how the quality could be allowed to vary by the bean counters.
Normally so hyperactive on matters disbursing to us- but not so much on established lucrative pathways, it seems to indicate.
We don't have ready access to information like that.
Levothyroxine, as a tablet, has to be within 90 to 105% of its claimed potency throughout its life - up to expiry - if stored suitable conditions.
The brekadown products of levothyroxoine, liothyronine and any impurities they carry with them into the mixing pot has always concerned me. However, the final product has strict limits. For example, levothyroxine can contain up to 1% of liothyronine! (I suspect it rarely does - if they got anywhere near that they'd be concerned.)
I use the Spanish one and about to order some more now. It may be in 75mcg amounts but it is capsules with the powder in. I empty the capsule and separate it into 4 and then take a quarter 2x a day ie one capsule lasts me 2 days.
