Help! Endocrinologist recommendation needed please.

After a happy year taking NDT and LDN, which together have transformed my life, my new GP is questioning prescribing them for me (my previous GP wrote these as private prescriptions, which I pay for). My new GP wants me to see an Endocrinologist before he will consider prescribing these. I need to find an endocrinologist sympathetic to natural dessicated thyroid, if such a person exists. I took Levothyroxine and Liothyronine (synthetic T4 and T3) for many years, but they just didn't work well for me. I am tired of this being an endless battle to get medicine that meads me feel better and will be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

Jemari, email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of member recommended endos. You should check with the endo's office that s/he will prescribe NDT before you confirm a booking.

London, but I don't mind travelling to see the right person (I'm all over the place as a rule anyway ;-)

Order what you need to stay well from <a website>. No prescription needed. The armour thyroid had a price increase as of three months ago. I switched to Nature-Throid because it is very affordable and I have been very pleased. <same website> doesnt carry every Thyroid brand but I was thrilled to find them. It takes around 28 days to receive your thyroid order. I have been totally pleased with the <same again> website. Add a good B complex and a separate B12.

Unfortunately, admin edited out your web links, but I think I have found who you mean. International. Thank you so much for your kind help. :-)

Jemari,

Probably no point in responding. The poster has left HU (that is what it means when you see a greyed-out icon and the name "Hidden").

If your response is meant to suggest a particular source, well, no, that was not the source, mentioned.
