Bioidentical Hormones?

I've been on NDT for three years (brief stint of Synthroid). I'm having trouble because I simply cannot get my T4 up. I have hyper and hypo symptoms. I was just wondering if anyone had tried bioidentical hormone therapy? There are a few integrative medicine docs here that prescribe them. Do they work better?

Bio identical hormones, from what I know, it's to deal with the menopause.

Bio identical hormones work with all hormones, I have customers at work who have had really bad experiences with Bio identical hormones. I would research thoroughly, can be very expensive too.
