Hi Anuba - I take T3 (used to take 30 mcg and likely to increase back to that level) and T4 @ 50 mcg. Agree that it depends how you are doing with this level of T3 - but I have always felt best when my TSH is kept at >0.005 - so basically supressed. Your T3 could do with being higher I would think - maybe someone more experienced than me will have a cview on that.
I had been feeling ruubbish for months - when I got checked out my TSH had crept up to 3.26 - working on lowering it again now. Hope that helps!
Goodluck babe...yeah I notice I feel not so good at moment....Im trying an extra 10 as doc said I could experiment as she trusts me....so Im going up a bit....
the free t4 test isnt really reliable when you are on T3 only I dont think so I dont look at it too much.x
Anuba, if you've only been on the extra 10mcg for one day, I would give your new dose time to settle in. I would give it at least one week to see if you feel an improvement. It would be magical if doses could work instantly. It's always better to increase your dose gradually and I only increase by 1/4 each time when increasing. as it easier to drop by one 1/4 than a half and, also, sometimes 1/4 can make the difference between 'quite good' and ' very good'.
