Help me find someone who will help??: Hi all... - Thyroid UK
Help me find someone who will help??
Whereabouts in the UK do you reside and someone will Private Message you if they have the information you require.
Also you can email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org for a list of doctors. I would ring them first to make sure they will treat you rather than you waste your money.
Before the blood tests were introduced we were diagnosed upon clinical symptoms - even on a trial basis and given Natural Dessicated Thyroid Hormones. It doesn't harm us.
Thankyou I live in South East london. All I want is for someone who will medicate natural desiccated based on my low readings and awful symptoms!
HI Find out what your Free T3 is. When I started treatment only my FT3 was below range. If TSH is not too low I do have a good Endo. Details on request.

i recently saw a private specialist on Crawley which i don't think is too far away from you. The best money i have ever spent diagnosed my problem in 5 minutes after 8 years of hell already picking up and feeling better in myself good luck
HI Abzieg
My TSH was were it should have been (each person is different) and GP confirmed all other levels were also in range however i felt so unwell in myself and similar to yourself, we know our own bodies.
I had 2 other additional tests via Genova Diagnostics with guidance as to which ones i needed after speaking with Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield based in Crawley.
When i visited him recently my T3 was so low this explained my personal problems related to health. I would recommend seeing him it is so worthwhile and worth the money. I found him on Google by name contacted his secretary and the rest is history.
I was also recommended by someone i met. Read up on 'stop the thyroid madness' this is so informative really opened my eyes. Good luck and i hope you feel better soon
Hi Abzieg
yes i have T3 as well as T4 medication (T4 only before).
Dr Durrant - Peatfield cannot prescribe medication, however your GP might most don't. I ordered mine on-line, however you will need testing you cannot buy medication on-line and assume it will do the do the trick, hence the need of websites like this which have really helped me. Plus identifying the root cause, not everyone is the same best to book an appointment and take it from there . Hope the information helps
