If anyone could help with my latest results that would be amazing! I'm on no medication but underactive thyroid runs on my mums side.

Thank you :) X

Freedom84, both sets of antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's).

TSH >2 is a sign the thyroid is beginning to struggle to produce hormone, and FT4 is low in range. FT3 4.82 is good. It's low T3 which causes hypothyroid symptoms. You are unlikely to get a NHS diagnosis until TSH is >4.2 or FT4 <12. Supplementing 200mcg selenium may improve thyroid function.

B12 358 is low in range, 1,000 is optimal. Supplement 1,000mcg methylcobalamin sublingual lozenges, spray or patches and take a B Complex vitamin to keep the other B vits balanced. Folate is good.

If fatigue or musculoskeletal pain are among your symptoms ask your GP to test ferritin and vitamin D.
