Worried, Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is high, and calcium high in range, so your GP should be considering primary hyperparathyroidism and refer you to endocrinology for investigation.

Free T4 is less than halfway through range and FT3 is bottom of range. The results indicate undermedication.

Hello Clutter. When I was younger, I had hyperthyroid. Then they gave me the radiation pill. Then it turned into hypo. Is it possible to get hyper again?? Anyway I will make an appt with my endo dr. Thank you so much😊

Clutter is talking about hyperparathyroidism which involves the parathyroid glands, this is different to being hyperthyroid which is thyroid related.

I think as your calcium is in range you may be looking at secondary hyperparathyroidism, possibly due to vitd deficiency, low phosphate or renal disease.

You do need further tests to find out why your parathyroid level is high.
