Whenever suits you, morning or night. For maximum absorption it's good to take it at least an hour before meals and away from any iron supplements.

What about coffee??! Should it also be avoided for about an hour after taking thyroid meds in the morning? I usually have coffee right away, before eating, but maybe it also interferes with thyroid hormone absorption..?

Take it when you wake up with one glass of water and wait for about 1 hr before eating.

If you prefer bedtime dosing, allow 2.5 hours since last eating and take it with a glass of water. Food can interfere with the uptake of the hormones.
