Hi dz, I see your FT4 is slightly over but that is acceptable. The problem is your FT3 is slightly low for such a good FT4 level. Are you having symptoms? I would expect your FT3 to be over 4.00 but if you feel well there is no problem.

If you aren't feeling well, you may not want to increase your levo if that is what you are taking Perhaps taking an NDT that includes about a 1/4 of it as T3 would make a difference. You could also consider adding T3.

Your B12 is rather low so supplementing would be a good idea preferably with methylcobalamin.

Slow conversion, possibly because B12 is so low.

Dzmum, TSH slightly below range and FT4 slightly over doesn't indicate overmedication as your FT3 is low in range. Unless you feel overmedicated you shouldn't reduce dose. Reducing dose will bring FT4 into range but is likely to cause FT3 to drop too.

What is the anti-thyroid peroxidase range?

B12 is low in range, optimal is 1,000. Supplement 5,000mcg methylcobalamin sublingual lozenges, spray or patches for 8 weeks to boost levels and then reduce to 1,000mcg daily. Take a B Complex vitamin to keep the other B vits balanced.

Dzmum, take each iron tablet with 500mg-1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation. Take Levothyroxine 4 hours away from iron.

I'm sorry your GP has reduced Eltroxin. If hypo symptoms worsen go back and ask for the original dose to be reinstated.

It looked to me as if your comment " total rubbish" was aimed at the post of Heloise directly above rather than dzmum ' s medics.
