Maggiemay, the only way to increase TSH is to take less NDT. Frankly, I don't rate a specialist who only tests TSH and FT4 when the patient is on NDT, he should be looking to see what your FT3 is too. If your FT3 is over range you should reduce dose, but if FT3 is within range, there's no need to reduce dose because TSH is low.

Labs keep refusing to do them when bloods are sent to do them , can't reduce as I am so I'll ,tired ,aching, headache, and cold just when I try to sleep at bedtime ,not sure why this happens as take meds in morning ,

NEVER let your doctor reduce your meds based on blood tests alone!

I take Armour and my TSH is generally 0.03 and has been for 3 years even on quite a small dose initially. My endo tolerates it though would rather it was higher but always tests my T3 to ensure it's not above range as has been suggested above. I am sure if these Drs were hypo and felt so unwell they would not reduce their dose regardless of what their TSH was!
