Go across to the pernicious anaemia site and have a hunt through the B12 results advice. Basically, the test is not fit for purpose.

Lorr67, I had a similar B12 result and doubled it within 10 weeks using 1,200mcg BetterYou B12 spray. 1,000mcg methylcobalamin sublingual lozenges or patches would do as well. You should also take a B Complex vitamin to keep the other B vits balanced and it will raise your folate too.

As I have similar results to Lorr67:

Serum vitamin B12 371 Range (189 - 883)

! Serum Folate 4.5 Range (4.8 - 19.0)

I have ordered some Jarrows 1000 Vitamin B12 but would like advice as to which Vitamin B complex is recommended?

Thanks in advance!

WoodElf,

Thorne B Complex is often recommended. I was happy to use a supermarket B Complex.
