I've not got the rest of my blood tests back yet from the doctor but was sent a copy of the tests my endo did today - copy to my doctor and I could do with help understanding them.
TSH 0.13
FT4 20.7
FT3 4.0
She says at the bottom of the letter she would be grateful if you (my doctor) could kindly review her (me) Thyroxine treatment at the surgery.

No Clutter it was all in one paragraph at the end of the endo's letter. I rung my surgery who said the blood tests the doc was doing were not in yet. I had been to see her about extreme fatigue and at the same time the endo told me to come in yearly appoint to see her. My cholesterol is high.
Jan, TSH is probably below range but doesn't mean you are overmedicated unless FT4 is over range, which I doubt it is, although it's probably close to top of range. FT3 looks low (in range) which suggests you aren't converting T4 to T3 well and might benefit from the addition of Liothyronine (T3) to a slightly reduced dose of Levothyroxine.
Ranges would be helpful, but looking at your results I would expect your GP to want to reduce your dose because your TSH is almost certainly below range.
What they should be looking at is the disparity between FT4 and FT3, which suggests to me that you are not converting well.
Thanks for reply like I said to Clutter I've been very fatigued for months but had tried to wether it before I finally made apointment to see doctor. To be honest I don't get a lot of help of them so what's the point. Get more help of people on here.
adasmith - I'm 62 and have had a hysterectomy, this was about thyroid problems i.e. I have Graves and Hashimotoes and have always suffered chronic fatigue. I as put up on a more recent blog I have anti nucleur antibodies and have been having severe itching and red rash caused by what looks like tissue damage. Doctor is putting me with a rheumatologist. Thanks anyway.
Thanks for reply adasmith it's good they found you a cure, I will have to look up the fu yan pill. I have an almost 2 month wait to see the rheumatologist seems a long time, hoping my body will kick in before then and do the job for them!
