Am looking into PEI as an alternative to radiology & surgery. I'm at my wits end, Whipp's Cross hospital where I'm being treated is a joke, they're rubbish & they don't care. I've asked my new GP to refer me somewhere else.

Limbolass, I've not heard of PEI being offered as an alternative to radioactive iodine or thyroidectomy in the UK. Have you asked your endo at Whipps Cross to investigate whether it is an option?
Whipp's Cross are a joke, I'm not going there anymore but as a general rule it's not avail in UK. They use it in Italy & US
Limbolass, I'm not sure I'd want to be the first UK patient to have PEI into a nodule. I'd rather someone experienced in injecting it into thyroid treated me.
I don't know... If the alternatives were an operation or radio-active iodine, I'd be quite tempted. It has been in use (at least within trials) for about 25 years. The person doing it (I guess they might not be conventional surgeons) might well have had direct experience in Italy, or India, or elsewhere.

Nah never panned out. An italian doctor said I could get referred to them via NHS but that was a while ago before Brexit...
