At doctor now waiting, any suggestions?

At doctor now waiting, a year since Hoshimotos symptoms destroyedy life, labs normal a few months ago. How do I nicely tell my PCP I want my life back?!!! Testosterone low, FSH low! Tired of symtoms, do I ask for synthroid????

Do you know what your blood results are - post them with the lab ranges. Have you had your vitamin D, B12, ferritin and folates checked? You could tell your doc how awful you are feeling in spite of your bloods being 'normal' and ask for a trial of thyroxine.

Funnygembunni, concentrate on the low testosterone and FSH. You won't get Synthroid if thyroid levels are in range.

Thank you my dear :-) I did focus on what is off lab work wise and I'm being sent to Columbian Presbyterian Hospital in NYC for consult
