Bit of good news

Sitting at my desk today I suddenly realised I actually feel pretty good, 8 months after having my Thyroid removed I actually feel normal, long may it last :-)

I certainly hope so. It does come as a surprise to find you have no symptoms and its a very welcome feeling.

So pleased to hear this me too I had my thyroid removed by radioiodine am now taking Levo now no more palpations no more carbinozola which means my hair is no longer falling out but importantly not feeling depressed am much more upbeat than before treatment so am thankful for my meds .....

Avb1234, it's a good feeling when you can say you feel good after months of feeling unwell. Onwards and upwards now :)

Cheers Clutter, I don't post much but have been an avid reader and have learnt a lot. I felt like posting today as it was a real surprise that I suddenly just felt 'right' again. Its a happy day :-)

Hi Sparerib, I have been taking 150mg of Thyroxine (Actavis) for around 6 weeks now. I was on the 125mg of a mixture of brands for 6 weeks (Actavis and Mercury ) and prior to that 100mg of Mercury. I don't know why the makes change, never thought to ask.
