Hi, I was hoping someone could take a look at my blood test results. They are TSH (5.6), T3 (4.7) and T4 (15.9), I had been feeling tired lately and I'm wondering if it's normal or thyroid related?

Hi Vix22, definitely thyroid related. You are undermedicated. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status which for most means TSH just above or below 1.0 with FT4 towards or in the top 75% of range and FT3 towards the top third of range.
Ask for a dose increase which is usually 25mcg and ask for a blood test 6-8 weeks later in case you need another increase.

Thanks Clutter, the docs said all ranges were normal. I thought about increasing it myself if they don't. Might explain why I can't shift a pound on a diet too!
Vix, Being within range isn't good enough, your dose and levels need to be optimal. Your GP clearly doesn't understand that being within range isn't good enough, your dose and levels need to be optimal if you're to have any quality of life.
Ask Louise for a copy of the Pulse article and show it to your GP. If a dose increase isn't forthcoming see all the other GPs at your practice until it is or change GP practice.
