Silverlady, those results don't indicate thyroid dysfunction as a cause of your unwellness. TSH is low-normal and FT4 19.8 is probably in the top 75% of range considered 'ideal'. Low TSH and high FT4 aren't guarantees of good T4 to T3 conversion though so you might want to order a private FT3 test from Blue Horizon or Genova before seeking a second opinion from a private doctor.

Low ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate can cause musculoskeletal pain, fatigue and low mood very similar to hypothyroid symptoms so it may be worth asking your GP to do blood tests. Post the results with the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after the results) in a new question and members will advise.
Are you on Levo, Silverlady5? If so, that TSH may indicate that a little more Levo is warranted - many members here find they need their TSH to be below 1.0 to feel well.
As Clutter says, the TSH and T4 levels are no indication of how well your body is producing the active thyroid hormone T3, and you may have a conversion problem.
If you're anaemic or B12 deficient that often has a bearing on how well you feel.
OK, so you are on Levo. But 75 is only a very small dose. People on thyroid hormone replacement usually need their TSH just above or below 1 - or even suppressed. So, I think you need an increase in your dose.
It would be very helpful if you included the ranges for FT4 and FT3 when you post, because they vary from lab to lab.
Thank you all for your advice. I will follow up on the Vit D as I was taking it after the radio iodine treatment but then after having symptoms same as recently was taken off it Doctor thought I was overdosing on it but have no idea what the levels were. GP yesterday tried to request a T3 blood test but computer system wouldn't allow it! I still feel there is a link here with the Levothyroxine that has upset me before and maybe things will settle down again.
