There is a new film out about B12 deficiency entitled, Sally Pacholok. Sally Pacholok is the author of the book, "Could it Be B12?" The film is about how she tries to change medical thinking in the field of B12 deficiency. Wish we could do one about thyroid disease!
Diagnosed at age 57 with Pernicious anaemia amongst other things feeling that it is all a battle all the time to get gps to recognise that I am not a nutter or a hypochondriac,
Have been ill literally all my life.
How can I get hold of a copy of this film I live in Southampton in the UK.
I've been trying to find out myself. I heard they are trying to get it premiered in London. If I find out where it's being shown, I'll let everyone know.
Don't think it's the same kind of film though, is it? This one is similar to the Erin Brockovich film so it may reach more people outside of those who are ill, if you see what I mean.
Hello humanbean, no by no means is it a secret. I guess it is force of habit to write PM. As you will notice lynmynott does state that she will let EVERYONE know...... and no sureley it isn't a secret where it is shown. Hope that clarifies things for you.
New vs Old B12 film - how would a common deficiency condition change in 85 years? recognition & treatment should but they haven't (quicktime needed to view this...)
