Magnesium: An Invisible Deficiency That Could Be Harming Your Health
Thanks for this very informative piece Greygoose!!
I've struggled with continuous fatigue, muscle and joint aches, severe headaches, shortness of breathe and insomnia since being diagnosed despite being on NDT, Swanson's adrenals, nutri pituitary and all sorts of supplements.
I did a blood test that included magnesium for the first time last week and received the results last Saturday showing I was magnesium deficient. I'm shocked to see how important magnesium is. I'd never even thought of it until I got my latest results. My continuous symptoms may not all be down to this deficieny but I'm sure it'll make a difference to be optimum.
The article you've shared is very informative even to the point of telling me which supplement is best. I bought magnesium citrate but based on this I may need magnesium glycinate in the first instance to correct the deficieny. I supplement on D3 daily but don't know about K2 so I'll have to read on that as well. But this gives me an idea where to begin.
Thanks again for sharing this.

Hi I agree but should only be taken with caution and frequent blood tests. It is an electrolyte so affects heart and kidney and closely related to Potassium which can be very dangerous. It is totally safe in food but used in hospital with extreme caution.
