Hello- am in Merseyside and searching for an endo who will prescribe NDT- specifically Westthroid as its gluten free. Any tips? Thank you

Email [e-mail] for a list of endos in Merseyside who may prescribe NDT. You should be aware that NDT isn't licenced for use in the UK so it is difficult to find NHS doctors who will prescribe it.

Thank you Loui- I am aware that NDT is not licensed, however GP's can actually prescribe it if endo approves so looking for an informed endo. x

Jewiemax, Because NDT is unlicensed a GP isn't obliged to prescribe it even if recommended by an endo. Some will, others won't. Check out pharmacies to see which, if any, GPs in your area prescribe NDT.
