I am on thyroxine for about 4 years 100 mc. I am permanently cold. its like my insides are cold. I am also very tired and my hair seems to be getting thinner. my last tsh was deemed normal but I am thinking of going to see a private endo ad obviously something isn't right. just to make things better I also have ra and raynauds

Im so glad im not the only one. I have the same symptoms as you. I am always saying my bones are cold. I also get tingling in my hands. I have had tests done at the GP and levels are normal, however they did not test for all I had ask them to test. I complained to my GP and he says these tests cannot be done it can only be done through a specialist. so now I have an appointent to see the Edo in January. Im on 125 mg thyroxine. Ask to be referred to a specialist.

Thank you I have been thinking about that. I will make an appt next week as he is away this week. I have never actually seen an endo it's always been managed at gp's.They seem to think that if tsh is normal then that's it but I keep reading about t3 and t4 but they won't do them at gp's
