I purchase some thyroid-s from a well known site , and have been taking it for nearly two weeks, but I got a pm from a member who said I should chuck them due to not being as they should be, (she had also ordered some)
they arrived in a box with the bottle inside containing the tablets, they are small and a very light brown in colour and have a hard coating, the box has SPS manufactured by Sriprasit'
it says on the box "thyroid extract 60mg, 30to 250 mg daily or as directed by a physician"
as I have nothing to compare them to I thought they were fine, I have no adverse affects taking them so far,
does anyone else take these or ordered them, and thought they were not the real thing?
I would appreciate any thoughts and advice.

Well they sound like the correct meds.. What reason has this other member given for them not being right?
Its always difficult when you buy for yourself, which is why we shouldn't have to, and why organisations are campaigning for proper diagnosis and treatment. However, you have to evaluate what you have bought for yourself.... Is it making you feel better, or worse and do the site who sold it to you want your repeat business. If they sell you duds or manage to cause you harm, you are not going to go back and re order on a regular basis!
I have done a quick search to see if I can find a photo, but no luck so far..... Its my lunch break so I am afraid I don't have more time.
I think the other member was me! What I said to Susie was that the bottle was ALMOST the same as the original from Sriprasit - but not quite. That there was no seal on the bottle, the label was not quite identical and that the tabs, far from being that sweetish flavour, were bitter. I am therefore deeply suspicious, since counterfeits are almost always 'almost'. Plus there is a very bad feedback on the site where the seller operates from and Sriprasit had never heard of them.
Susie, What did the PM say was wrong with them? From your description they sound like the real deal and I believe the manufacturer is selling on that site. Thyroid-S may not have worked for the member who PMd you, not every brand of NDT suits everyone, but plenty of members use it and are very happy with it.
Thyroid-S tablet is a light brown color and shiny, tablets are white or off-white inside.
Tablet Coating: Thyroid-S is a coated tablet.
Tablet Anti-Counterfeiting: The coating on Thyroid-S tablets is thin and distinctive and not easily duplicated by counterfeiters.
Packaging: (Please Note: This discussion on packaging is referring to the full bottle 1,000 tablets packaging. The small packs, ie. 30-250 tablets, are packed in sealed, re-closeable, moisture barrier bags as described in the product listings. The bottle packaging is not available in tablet sizes less than 1,000 tablets.) Thyroid-S is packaged in a brown glass bottle with metal cap, and with moisture absorber inside, and cotton to fill the extra space in the bottle. The glass bottle is inside a cardboard box with shrink wrap which functions as the security seal.
thanks Clutter, the description you give is exactly the same as the thyroid-s I ordered, mine were for 1,000 tablets, the PM said hers arrived in a sealed moisture pack, so I think that is what was worrying her,
I feel assured now as they seem to be suiting me well so far.
