Swoping ndt

Has anybody swooped from one ndt too another? How did it go and did you just do a straight swop?

I just did a straight swop over. Take note of your pulse/temp too, so if you are too hot/to fast pulse drop slightly.

I was on Erfa then switched to Naturethroid.

It was much better than levo but I wanted to try a hypo-allergenic one and I liked Naturethroid.

Apparently, re Erfa recently, there have been some complaints that there has been a change although the manufacturer denies this but some patients have found a difference.

What meds suit one person doesn't always suit another and it may be trial and error.

Whatever you choose, I wish you success.

HI I have just swopped my armour for nature thiroid. On my Endo`s advise to a lower dose. Then I will have a test ,tSh, T4 and FT3 in 2 weeks before adjusting.

Armour to ERFA - same dose and was fine. Now looking to get a replacement for the ERFA.

No it's not. They changed it somehow earlier this year, and it no longer works for me. I was told by an endo a few days ago that none of the other 15 patients on ERFA have complained.
