Hi can anyone shed some light on these numbers for me.

TsH was 0.43 and free t4 was 14.

What do these numbers mean?

I am waiting for results of my t3 ans oestrogen and progesterone levels.

Many thanks

Welcome to the forum, Megaloop.

TSH is in the low normal range which is good. Do you have the lab ref range (the figures in brackets after your results) for your FT4? FT4 is ideal when it is in the top 75% of range. It helps members to interpret results when you add the lab ref ranges.

People with a reverse t3 issue, where they convert their t4 into an unusable form instead of t3, would do very poorly with a ft4 near the top of the range.

Hi. My range for TSH is 0.35-5 and free T4 is 9-21

iam waiting on new rssults being emailed today including t3 oestrogen and progesterone.

Many thanks for your welcome.

I dont understand all these numbers very well! Just been investigating to see if my thyroid has been the problem as ive felt rubbish for a few months now since i had my son. I was sterilised to xausing ptls so i had that reversed in July which has helped a lot of my symptoms but some remain.

Hi Megaloop

Just for your information as you say your problems began after having a baby. If you cursor down to the third question/answer it may be helpful.
