Could anyone private message me a good doctor in Scotland ?

I've pretty much decided that the GP will be of no use and I'll need to go private.

I've heard of doctor Peatfield but I'm that unwell at the moment I think I'd struggle to travel that far.

Thanks again. I appreciate everyone's knowledge on here.

Glyn, Ask your GP to do thyroid function tests first. Deficient/low ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate often present with fatigue, pain and low mood similar to hypothyroid symptoms so ask your GP to test these too. Alternatively, you can order private tests via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

When you have your results post them with the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results) in a new question for comment/advice.

Email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of endos and private doctors in Scotland. You will need a GP referral letter for NHS and most private consultant endocrinologists.
