Estrogen Dominance or Low Estrogen

Hi

I have just had a progesterone and estrogen blood test which has revelaed that i am low in estrogen. My doctor has told me this but has not made an recommendation to do anything about it. Also tested was FSH along with thyroid tests (i am hypothyroid). I am 41 years of age and have regular but light periods. The test was carried out on day 3 of my cycle which is probably not the best time to do it. According to my symptoms on Dr John Lees checklist i am estrogen dominant. I am wondering if i should be taking some supplementation but dont want to do anything without my doctors approval. Any ideas anyone please?
