Apparently not called Iso D3 now:

D3 2000™ Complex (formerly Iso D3™)

metagenics.com/mp/products/...

The problems of posting sources are where that is used as a way of spamming or for products which are or would be subject to prescription control in the UK. Helpful and genuine mentions of suppliers are fine.

Boots have 3 for 2 on Spatone at the moment. Worth a try and if you have a Boots loyalty card, you also get points ! Good luck.

I've read many people on forums not finding Spatone effective for increasing their iron, ferritin levels even after months of double sachets per day, but they have found ferrous fumarate/sulphate effective. I take 210mg ferrous fumarate a day (with vit c) bought from ebay, £6 for 84 x 210mg tablets.

Thanks CC - i will check it out. I suspect there is much truth about spatone but I get 'blocked' very easily so I would need an alternative soluble solution where possible

It is often said that haem/heme iron is easier to absorb. Hence might be worth looking here:

On a slight tangent, I'd be very interested to know if there's any supplements one can economise with. For example, I tend to go for the 'good' brands such as Lamberts and Jarrow so could I economise with, say, vitamin D3 and go for a cheaper manufacturer?

Normally I just Google everything to compare prices.
