My thyroid levels are normal, but I still have hyper symptoms.

It has been a year some thing is wrong with my health. I had several blood tests like TSH, Thyroid antibody, T3 and T4, all came up normal, but I still have hyper symptoms. My symptoms are fatigue, heart palpitations, legs pain, front neck pain and hot flashes.

I was on 5mg of Tapzole, It didn't worked for me and the symptoms were still there.

My endo thinks its not my thyroid and suggested me to stop it and he says some other thing is wrong with me.

But I am sure its my thyroid.

I will be glad if any one share her or his same problem with me.

I am tired of going to the docs every time but I yet have to struggle with symptoms.

Thank u so much.

Hi mufresh1

Is it possible for you to get a copy of your latest blood test results for your thyroid gland with the ranges as they are helpful to make comments. Just ask your surgery for one. We are entitled to them. You should keep copies of your blood tests for your own records.

Someone who is hyper will most probably comment to you as well.

If you get your test results including the ranges used posted here it will be interesting to see what your doctor regards as"normal" ....I think that is where there is often a difference of opinion if it should be a thyroid problem.I do hope you can get help soon.

Have you had your adrenals checked? This test unfortunately are not offered under the NHS (look up Genova Diagnostics) but if your adrenals are exhausted they will be adding to the symtpoms you present. The symptoms you present maybe also due to high adrenaline/nordranline coming from the adrenals which kicks in to support the body's low energy when there's a lack of thyroid hormones. You could also take some magnesium, B-complex (including B12) and iron to support mitochondrial function.
