Hi denvajade. It is helpful if you can put the ranges to your blood test results as it makes it easier to comment. Labs differ in their ranges.

Re your weight gain, you may not yet be on enough medication. Some of us need a low or suppressed TSH to feel well. Unfortunately GPs are unaware of this phenomonon.

Thankyou for your quick reply, I am not on any meds for thyroid, been very sick for more than 16 months, first symptoms were weight gain, 7kgs in 1 week, huge stomach like 9months preg with twins, soooooo tired sleeping 18 hours a day and looked like i was dying of cancer, doctors thought i had liver, then pancreas cancer and so we went on for 4months. The numbers i posted are what the nurse read to me today, no ranges though.

Yes it's very odd to be hot when hypothyroid. Have you been prescribed any thyroxine? You don't give any ranges but your T3 and T4 look low. Your TSH of 1.08 isn't high though (although it's hard to be sure without the ranges) so maybe you have a pituitary problem. I don't know what anyone else thinks. I just hope you get treated soon and that the doctors work out what your problem is. Have they excluded ovarian cysts? There is a link between low thyroid function and ovarian cysts.
