Not sure yet Angel, I live Springwell, Gateshead. Another lady who was interested lives in Newcastle. Trouble is I have no experience of starting a support group and no medical experience of thyroid issues. I suffer with hypothyroidism myself and would like to meet with others with the same issues to see if we could support one another.

Hey All, I lm sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've just seen the thread, I'm very interested in meeting up with folk, Im hyperthyroid but I would still be keen to meet up with hypo folk too as lots of the symptoms snd problems seem to be similar, would be great to chat with people who understand! x

That's five up to now, or the other option is that we meet and share the petrol and I would be happy to drive us up to the Morpeth meeting maybe once a month.??

That's me (Dawn), Chippy14, Karen72, Heather77, Angel-of-the-north and Annie1. If we could get some idea of where everyone lives we could maybe find some common ground of where to meet.

I live Springwell Village, Chippy is in Chester-le-street, Heather is Wideopen, I am assuming Angel is Gateshead, not sure where Annie is. I work full time so it would have to be either a Wednesday or an evening for me. Depending on others I am up the galleries every Wednesday, if its convenient we could possibly meet up in the cafe up there?? Let me know what you all think. Any suggestions will be welcomed. X

That sounds great, but the next 2 Wednesdays I am with my sister and she 'suffers' from fantastic health!!! Therefore is not the most understanding person when it comes to health issues, (thinks I am a hypochondriac). But would be happy to meet up Wednesday 9th if you can do that. Muffin break is pleasant if its a sunny day, so shall we say 10am on the 9th if you can make it. I shall message the others interested to see if they want to meet, but I'll wait to see if its convenient for you first. x
