I have found out so much more here than from my Drs it has allowed me to take control of my situation

I often wonder about the natural dedicated thyroid that I hear about …… we don't seem to have the same variety as in the UK

No desiccated thyroid products are licensed in the UK. Those who get them on prescription (private or NHS) use the "named patient basis" under which doctors can prescribe medicines that are not licensed. I strongly suspect that the majority of those taking desiccated thyroid actually get it without prescription from various suppliers via the internet. Some may use a UK prescription when buying from some non-UK pharmacies (e.g. in Belgium).

Hi GeddaB, no you can't get Armour in the UK off script, it's hard to get it ON script here. I buy mine from the USA no script needed, delivery time just under two weeks

Hi, hope you don't mind me asking but where can you get the Armour in the USA, I thought they also insisted on a script? I was one of Dr Skinner's patients and I was prescribed Armour, now sadly with his passing, I am stuck I don't know where to get it from. My GP is not willing to prescribe it, now coming to the end of my supply, I don't know what to do. Would you be kind enough to PM me and let me know, many thank xxxx

Hi should have mentioned I did see on the internet a company that will ship the Armour to the UK from the Pacific Islands, not sure if anyone has dealt with them, a PM would be greatly appreciated if you have. Thank you x

It is over the counter in Thailand, a mere £10 for 1000 tabs. Also several websites you can get it, mainly US
