Did you switch to the same dose of Nature-throid. Are you taking your morning (before getting out of bed) temp and pulse and normal temp/pulse during the day. i.e. are they different from being on Armour. Do you take once daily?

I take the same dose as the armour at the same time , yes the first early in the morning

That's good.

I am going to give it a fair trial

I tried about 4 NDTs but not Armour. I Nature-throid suited me best.

I recently started on Armour and thought I'd try Nature Throid, taking 1 and half grains and I'm wondering if NT is slightly weaker, I have noticed my teeth grinding is less taking NT, still early days yet and i still have a full pot of Armour so I'll probably have to switch back at some stage.

That is interesting , I agree I think it is slightly weeker but I am.going to give it more time .The only reason I changed was a price issue :(

I agree, at over half less I think it is the better choice. I'll finish of my Nature Throid then the Armour then make the decision on what to stay on long term.

Maybe when you get used to Nature throid you could always take an Armour now and then. Some people take combinations of T4 and T3, or T4 and some NDT.

Just a quick update it seems that NT is more effective on me so after blood tests I am now hyper which explains the anxiety . I have been advised to cut my dose , I currently take 2 grains a day so I will cut to 1 1/2 and see how I go :)

Do you feel hyperactive i.e. too hot, fast pulse, quite uncomfortable? Or are you just going by the blood test alone?

Very uncomfortable , can't sleep and very nervous , I hope it soon passes

It should pass - maybe miss tomorrow's dose if you've already taken today's.

I was thinking about that , thank you for help once again

When increasing sometimes it's easier to go up by 1/4 at a time and vice versa when reducing.

I will give that a try :)
