Armour/ nature thyroid

Hi I'm new to the forum, I was wondering if anyone was on armour or nature thyroid and if so where they get it? Thanks

I think it's not so easy to get a prescription in the UK for those so many take Thyroid -s, or Thirod

Welcome to our forum. You haven't provided us with any information about your hypothyroid history - when diagnosed - and prescription.

Hi I was diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism in 2001 and used to take armour thyroid on a private prescription until it became too difficult to get. I've taken thyroxine recently but recent tests show my tsh is over 5, and I just don't do as well on it.

Have you any resent bloods and the ranges? With a TSH of over 5 you are probably not taking enough and/or very low on other things but without more information it's difficult to be sure.

Hi the gp only told me my tsh was 5. something, they said everything else was normal, but they don't do t3 or t4 anyway. I was on 2 grain armour thyroid or 200 mcg thyroxine until I was told to lower the thyroxine by my gp as my tsh was suppressed. Since then I must have been under medicated as my tsh has gone up to over 5.
