A little bit of a strange question but does anyone of you sweat under the armpits while shivering cold ?

I often get that Kizzy12, sweat running down my back, I take my temp and it's way below normal. Yet when i'm really anxious (seeing any kind of medical person) my temp can go above normal. My GP took my temp before Christmas as I felt chesty, I was sweating so much my back was wet. She wanted to give me antibiotics, I said no thanks! An hour after the appt I was shivering and took my temp out of interest and it was 35.9. Absolutely no thermostat!

I don't get that but I'm often hot and sweaty above the waist and cold and shivery below it!!!

Oh yes frequently - bizarre and hideously unpleasant. I understand from what I have read it is mitrochrondria vacillating from over production to under production of energy in each cell. But how it can be both at once I just don't understand. It would be good to get a proper explanation from an expert out there - even if it won't go away knowing why is somehow empowering!

My question is does it have anything to do with hypothyroidism ?
