Perhaps you could use this website and click the 'translate' button on Google Chrome. I expect there is a similar facility in internet explorer. It might get you part of the way there at least. I couldn't find an English version either.
I can't find a translation option in internet explorer, but I don't use it often. Google Chrome is a good web browser though. You can download from here if you need it.
I'm using Safari and when you use Google as a search engine, it has a translate option next to the search results for anything that's not in English. Firefox is the same, so I imagine it's the same in other browsers.
Hi Kat - would you mind letting me know doctor in London you are seeing. I am on Euthyral from a doc in London and I buy from him every month so expensively I cannot carry on. Novothyral I think is the same and cheaper?
Kat, it is very exciting to discover there is another product out there! I have tried everything else, all with problems of one kind or another. Do you happen to know what the respective amounts are of T4 and T3? I do hope it is a great success for you. Please let us know.
Hi, it contains 100mcg of thyroxine and 20mcg of T3. I'm going to start taking it on Friday so I'll post again when I've been taking it awhile. I'm hoping that it will be the last piece of the jigsaw for me feeling 'normal' again. After 15 years and rubbish treatment from my doctor the private doctor that I've been seeing since april has given me back my life. I feel fantastic and have lost nearly 3 stone. Take care, kat
Hi Kat I have just returned from seeing a private doctor of functional medicine and he has prescribed me Novothyral. Can you please let me know how you are getting on with it and also the name of your doctor as may be interested in a second opinion .
We are all desperate to hear successful stories like yours. Has this doctor done anything specific that would be useful for others to know, eg testing for Vitamin or mineral deficiencies? Or has he simply listened to you and believed what you told him?
My gp had already tested for a few vits. so I already knew that my iron and vit. D was low, but apart from that he insisted that everything else was ok. So I went to see this doctor who specialises in homones. After speaking to her she knew exactly what was wrong even before she did any blood tests. My eostrogen was way to high, progesteron to low, low DHEA thyroid conversion problems and I was pre- diabetic. After blood tests i went back a week later and she put me on a no sugar diet that included no carbs and no fruit. She gave me progesterone cream vit D, iron, and t- convert for my thyroid. I went back about 3 months later and then started taking DHEA and diabeticron which is high in cronium and a multi vit. and mineral. I felt fantastic. When i went back this week she said that everything is good, my vit.d levels are now normal, still working on my iron, the level has risen but it takes time. My thyroid is looking good but my T3, although it has improved could be better. So she prescribed these tablets for me. I go back in 2 months. She said that if they work for me she will write to my gp to see if they will prescribe them for me. She said that most say no but sometimes they do.
Your doctor sounds fantastic! Blood sugar instability can contribute to low progesterone, high oestrogen and low levels of neurotransmitters, all which can inhibit conversion. You may well find that once all that is sorted out and your iron is better, you might convert t4 to t3 better.
Your doctor sounds brilliant can we find out who she is? did you need a referral from your GP? I am really fed up of going up and down in tablets and still feeling unwell, Doctors say it can take a while, not kidding 20 years so far? so glad you are feeling well, your story is an inspiration, regards k xx
You are unlikely to find an English language patient information leaflet unless the product is sold in a English-speaking market. There are obvious costs in translation and maintenance.
Hi, yes I take it in the morning as soon as I wake up with water and then don't eat or drink anything else for an hour. It took a while for me to get my levels right. After a few months my levels were still to low so I added 25 thyroxine, but then I went hyper so I just take the novothyral at the moment. I'm feeling good just trying to get my iron levels up. I hope it works for you. Take care, Kat
I've only just joined, and was prompted by reading this thread! I've been seeing a private doctor in London too, and he's also put me on Novothyral 100. He does lots of vitamin testing, supplementation and nutrition, and I've improved hugely so far. But I've still got quite a way to go and would really love the details of your doctor. My one is brilliant, but lives in Belgium (coming to London to see his English patients) and I'm beginning to want (and need) closer monitoring. So I might need someone who's based here. Your doc sounds great.
I'm new to this thread and it sounds like you may have seen the doctor that I recently visited. Initials GM. It is a leap of faith to put your hands in a new doctor and it is encouraging to hear you improved. How are you getting on now? I too was prescribed Novothyral and I am keen to hear how people have got on with this as my endocrinologist was not a fan. Like Kat my Vit D and Iron were depleted along with A,K,E, Sodium and a whole bunch of other stuff and I started last week on the vitamin/dietary supplements so I am at the beginning of my journey hopefully back to good health.
I've recently seen the same doctor who's prescribed the same medicine, Novothyral, in addition to many vitamins and supplements. Have you seen continued improvement? It seems that I am spending a small fortune and hope it is worth it.
I only started the vitamins and supplements 3 weeks ago. I was able to buy most from Amazon for much cheaper prices (same manufacturers) and the rest I ordered from the overseas pharmacy. I am starting to feel better but I have been on Iron for 6months and also had a Vit D shot so those levels are up in norma range now so would expect to feel better on that alone. I am sticking to the regime of supplement popping and Paleo diet. I sought second opinions on the introduction of T3 from an endocrinologist and GP and they both said just increase the T4 and frowned on the prescription for Novothyral. I wish I had questioned more on it. However after much reading I have now ordered the Novothyral and will start it when it arrives.
Please keep in touch and let me know how you get on and maybe we will get some comments from other who are further down the track!
Wow it sounds like you did much more research than I did. I was so desperate to feel better that I just ordered everything as directed. I have been taking all the meds for less than a week. I've already been on the autoimmune paleo diet for 6 months so I'm hoping my diet won't change too much once I see the nutritionist this week. I am starting to feel more normal now after a tough few days of transition. The meds made me quite emotional and moody at first. I'm not sure if that was the novothyral or the adrenal support prescribed.
Just wondered how you are getting on, did you find a good balance with your meds? I am due to go back and see Dr M next week. I didn't start the Novothyral as realised I wasn't taking my Levo correctly so decided to have a stretch of taking that at correct times etc first. Will wait to see results and decide from there if to start it but keen to hear it is helping others. I do feel better, have been on supplements for 5 months now but have a raised ANA so going down the Lupus investigation route (which Dr M has predicted). Also struggling to get iron up..
How are you getting on with the Novothral? I have just read this now. Would you mind telling me the contact details of your doctor. My daughter has serious problems with her thyroid and really needs to see someone.
