hi 'gibbo' . do not worry about the weight gain -- or loss -- [ which you will have ]--- that comes with the medication that you have to take -- if you have your family and friends with you to help you -----you can overcome YOUR current problem === you are still the same person UNDERNEATH == and others are still with you !!!!! ...LoL alan

Hi If your levels are not right you will not loose weight. Always have your results, a print out with ranges. Range vary , different Labs. Essential to have TSH, T4 and Free T3 tests as often weight is low FT3. You may need levo ( or less Levo) and some T3, only the tests and results will show you.If GP cannot do the 3, on line sis the cheapest option, not through a private hospital. It takes a long while to get the treatment right , with frequent re tests and alterations in meds accordingly.

Best wishes,

Jackie

i am on Exante meal replacement and it is working. I have lost 9lb in 4 weeks. No other diet has worked. I have reduced my Thyroxine as well. from 125 to 100 and feel loads better. I was over medicated with a TSH of 0.05 and felt lousy with awful Hypo symptoms. Good luck xx
