Have you got the reference ranges to add to you levels? This way we can see the bigger picture. Thanks

Are you taking any other vitamin and mineral supplements? X

Ayreshirelass, ask your GP receptionist for the ranges or contact the lab at your hospital for them. All I can tell is that your TSH is high enough to cause you to feel hypothyroid and your ferritin is low. Ferritin is optimal at 70-90. Ferrous fumarate can be bought OTC from pharmacies and each dose should be taken with 500g-1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and mitigate constipation.

You have v low ferritin (it is probably just in the bottom range if your ranges are the same is mine)and your TSH could be a bit lower is all I can tell - your t3 is low but I dont know the ranges you have. your t4 could be higher....Solgar hematinic solution for iron if you cant tolerate doctors meds for it is good. Check other peoples questions for more info if you want too.

My folate came back at 2 range was 4-18 so was given 5mg/day for I think 4 months. A few months down the line was feeling very tired so asked for Vir D retest ( didn't know if maintenance dose was keeping up) and folate as not retested after treatment. Vit D had improved slightly so good and so had folate, same ranges but now 6! This was nowhere near the recommended top 25%. Couldn't get an appointment before holidays so bought some online and after holidays new Endo appointment and so confessed what I had done. No comment, just wrote it down so presumably happy with that. Now feeling lot better.
