Thats quite a hefty dose you are on. The symptoms of overmedication can feel the same as hypo symptoms so you believe you need yet more Levo but in fact you need less. Don't think you have to have a racing heart and be typically hyper if you are taking too much, absolutely the opposite in my experience.

I was in this situation about 4 years ago and again 3 months ago with raging hypo symptoms, I have reduced down from 150mcg to 100mcg and I am better now than I have been in years.

What does the 25 mean? Is it much into hyper?

your TSH is still in the normal range and at that I feel good. Your T4 is right at the top of the range or just above depending on the range. Perhaps you are not converting well to T3. Your dose is quite high and I would expect your blood results to look worse than they do.

Yeah I agree, when they said my results were abnormal! I just feel tired all the time. Can't win! I'm tired on a lower dose but just as tired on the higher!!

Hi,, do you have the ranges to hand too? I'm in similar position to you and an planning to get my ft3 done, either by nagging doc or privately,,i feel the latter would be far easier. The thing with hyper is that most hypo patients have never been strictly hyper thyroid so we mostly assume what it feels like, thyroid UK have a hyper thyroid symptom checker as well as a hypo one and fatigue is on both of them so i guess were stuffed either way.lol.. the dr toft.excerpt from his book , understanding thyroid, is quite clear,, and would see your current tsh and ft4 as fine as long as.ft3 is normal.. Thyroid UK can tell you where to easily obtain a.ft3 test privately at relatively low cost.. I've done it and service is excellent.

Thanks for that Ian. I certainly don't feel hyper!! Far from it! Still got Alzheimer's!! Lol

Hyper thyroid can lead to fatigue and sometimes worse than hypo.. Have you got the ranges to those results plus I'd get your ft3 checked if i was you,, could tell you exactly what's up,, i use blue horizon via thyroid UK, pretty reasonable and easy..

Got the ranges now...

Tsh 0.35-4.7) mine was 0.05

T4 (7.8-21.0) mine was 25
