That is amazing! Well done you I wonder why the weight loss didn't really kick off until the second month. That is interesting and must have been so frustrating for you! I bet you're glad you stuck with it.
Brilliant achievement

Thank you i have asked my GP the same question surprise surprise he didnt have a clue lol but did agree that calorie counting is the way forward because i am eating excatly the same food as usual but weighing it first instead of just putting it all on my plate .(i must say that the first week it was all cold by the time i fussed around weighing it ) also i started on 1400 calories a day but after looking on the net found i should be on 1200 a day which i must add found hard to use everyday thank you for your support x

What a star! we all know how difficult it is to loose weight with a sluggish metabolism. Well done you. My only worry is that you have enough vit D, omega 3 and general vits in your diet. If not, do supplement as you don't want the new you feeling under the weather!

That's fab, well dun u, it's soooooo hard to lose the weight, and to stay motivated wen u feel yuk all the time. U shud b so proud of yourself xxx
well done! I have weight loss envy
Thank you Iiza i also had weight loss envy the weather changes and all my friends start losing weight for the summer. So last winter i thought thats it this year im going to crack it.I started reading up on all different diets and found calorie counting ideal for me ( it meant i could keep nearly the same healthy diet i have always had ) it was gutting when at first it the scales didnt move but i think parhaps because of thyroid things change a lot slower xxxx
well done I do calorie counting and yes weigh eveything it's just a way of life now.I use an app on my phone also available on net myfitnesspal log everything through the day and exercise. Since being diagnosed hashi 2 years ago and before found it hard to exercise up until last Nov when also diagnosed coeliac stopped eating gluten and since dairy and now have more energy to exercise which I started regularly in March . I didn't lose hardly any weight until I went gluten free in Nov and just before biopsy when eating more gluten foods. I took up jogging 17 weeks ago doing NHS choices couch to 5k never run before but I'm now able to run 3.5 miles in 34mins 3 times a week and when I first started stopped losing weight but then in 5th week 3lb and now losing a steady 0.5 - 1lb a week still only keeping in my 1450 calorie range. But its not easy but would say keep it up don't give in..I'm 20lb lighter since Nov and 6llb off being in the normal weight range..have a goal mind, mine is that I'm 40 in Sept and want a nice dress and didn't want to be fat and unfit at 40 as these last few years have been hard ....keep it up
