I've gone downhill in the last couple of weeks since I've been taking the new batch and am taking more and more of it with no improvement.

Does anyone taking T3 from Mexico have any suspicions about its quality?
Cynomel I assume? My daughter has been taking it for 11 years and has always found it's quality to be fine. Dr. Lowe thought it was the purest form of T3. Perhaps you need to be tested for other deficiencies - adrenals? Vitamins/minerals? Check this page on the main Thyroid UK website for information on which tests to ask for:

Can you give something more to identify what you're referring to when you say 'the new batch', so that folks have something to refer to (Batch number, expiry date etc.)? What's new to you might not be new to someone else
The numbers on the bottle are BM 201206 below it is another number that says DIC 14. Unfortunately I cant read what it says those numbers relate to because the print is too small. It looks something like Lote (top number) and Cad (bottom number). There is also the number 7501 5961 with a bar code.
I'd guess that the first set of characters means something like Batch Manufactured 06 2012. Now, whether the 06 is the month, or simply the sixth batch of that year might need clarification. The second set will surely be the expiry date December 2014.
But I'm no expert in such things, and I don't speak Mexican either, so I could be talking twaddle
Have just received some and it seems fine. L
I've never had ANY problems with any batches of any of the T3s I've tried and I have tried Cynomel (mexico), UK T3 (mercury pharma and old goldshield) and Thybon (germany), all of these quite recently
No problems with my t3 and mine too is from mexico.
Mine is from Mexico and after using it for about 3 months (it has an expiry date of June 14) I started to feel a bit undermedicated.
I wondered about the toxicity of it after having it for the time I had regardless of the expiry date. I ordered some more as I was nearing the end anyway.
Started to take the new batch (Dec 14) expiry date and immediately felt a bit weird and spacy. Couldnt work out why and then realised it was the new batch I had taken away me.
I can only assume the new batch was stronger. Is it just possible that your batch is becoming weaker too and maybe you need to take a bit more?
p.s. sorry Ive just re read your post and see that you're taking a new batch? Is it likely that, again, its more potent than your last batch. To be overmedicated can give the same symptoms as undermedicated.
Please read my reply to Red Apple above setting out all the numbers on my bottle. Do you think any of them relate to the expiry date? I only received them in April 2013 so they shouldn't be out of date. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. My chest is feeling quite tight and I feel breathless. Do you have this symptom? I've had it to a certain extent ever since I've been on T3 but it seems to be worse at the moment. I did increase the dose but now I've decreased it because I wondered if I was ODing. I'm finding this a bit difficult at the moment and now blood tests are not worth having I'm really not sure what to do.
Think mine were received in April too.
Often get breathless, particularly when talking.
Ooooooooh, this is interesting!
I've been using Mexican Cynomel and was doing well but recently have gone downhill. Struggling with nausea, dizzy, light-headed, sweating buckets, weight increase, brain fog etc.
Endo reckons I'm over-medicated by taking 112mcg. Have reduced but definitely not right.
I'm using two batches with expiry of June and Dec 14. namely BM201202 and BM201205.
Hi Please read my responses to Red Apple and NumberOne1 above. About a week ago I increased my dose to 162 and felt worse than ever so yesterday I reduced it down to 137 and still felt bad so, today I'm try to take less but I don't know whether I should be or not. My left arm becomes quite sore in the evenings and I tend to end up taking another 25 tab because I am worried about it. It seems to me to be quite difficult being on T3 because blood tests are apparently meaningless and now I'm wondering what to do.
I really don't know what to make of this. I've almost halved my dose but the worst symptom is a pounding heart, even when in bed.
How long have you actually been taking T3 for?
I've been taking it since November 2012. That link you gave was interesting. Red Apple thinks the batch of T3 may have been manufactured in June 2012 (BM201206). Perhaps it loses its potency after a year. I'm not really sure what to do now.
Thinking about my supply, the batch numbers I posted aren't actually from what I'd taken the most. I've just started a new batch but the old bottle will be in the bin of which three bottles would have been used from the one order. I'll check tomorrow when that was actually ordered.
Sorry but I don't know what to suggest. How many more bottles of that batch do you have?
Just found what I was looking for! Batch number is BM201204 expiry Sept 14.
