Go anD . i am going to see a new endo that soemone recommended here that apparently is really good. go dont you go and see someone privately i know is a lot of money but once they do the right thing is all worth it. Do you have insurance. who have you seing. are you having thyroid meds at all? how are you vitamin d , b12, and ferritin?
I have been seeing a endo in Bristol and have been to see dr p but he was a bit ablivious as my tsh was at the time showing high in range but I had a racing heat and palps which is noted as hyper, but now my tsh has gone to 0.30 which is low and I have hyper symptoms, I seem to go between, I have forwarded my new lab results to him, just awaiting a response hopefully, I see a nhs endo in Bristol but he isn't any good, I do have low in range ferritin, b12 and folate I was supplementing but my gp wants me of them for a month to be checked again x
yes i did . did you have the antibodis done.
read the article. it is really good. do you also have pain in your thryroid>?
have they done an ultrasound?

Hi there nicola
I've just signed the petition. I really do hope that something gets done regarding care for us thyroid/autoimmune patients.
I had lots of hassle with my previous gp who refused to retest my blood work despite suffering symptoms. So I move doctors who were more than happy to retest me earlier than the 6 months and they diagnose me hypothyroid.
I agree, more understandinng and management for situations like ours is due, not just within the medical community but also within the employment community - my former boss was less than understanding about my health and simply said I didn't look sick as I was told I had no goitre!
Take care
I've signed it too! It's a very good idea and I wondered the other day if there was somethig similar.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling.
thank you x
Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I've put it on my facebook page and emailed it to my friends so that they can do so too.
